About me

“My mission is to make the philosophy of yoga available to everyone in its complexity, in a trustworthy way.” – Mevu

I got into contact with the philosophy of yoga already at my birth. My dad already practiced yoga in the 1970s, who inspired me to study yoga actively at the age of 13. It has been present in my life for more than 30 years so far.

Besides the physical exercises, I have got deeper into yoga philosophy and got to know a number of Western and Eastern methods. All these can be strongly linked to one of the yoga branches (Western techniques: brain control, NLP, autogenic training, neurotraining, coaching; Eastern methods: najapi, reiki, feng shui, shiatsu).

The amount of experience gained during life gives a clear picture of what most mothers feel. I have already worked 8-14 hours a day with a child at home, and series of tragedies were hitting me for 2 years. First, in 2012, many people thought that hardships caused by the economic crisis were the real challenges: I thought my biggest problem would be when going back to work after the birth of my first child that I could not find the perfect work team and boss. Then one of my close relatives died, and suddenly, another, who, on top of that, was my younger sibling. I could not feel pity for myself at that point, I just tried to be present, not in the past, but in real-time present. A simple trial to survive.

These years totally destroyed my health, taking away the possibility to practice yoga. My backbone was in such a condition that I did not dare to do exercise. I went to work extremely tired, exhausted and with a spine close to herniation. Then came the evening routine with my little son. There was time for doing physical therapy training exercises only after that, in the dark, until midnight. If I had not, I could not have stood up the next morning. Another 10-hour-long workday and the evening routine followed. For years. However, constant evening training did pay off after 1,5 years. The spiral kicked off, processing the earlier tragedies could begin, and I gradually started to put more energy into myself every week. Physical therapy training was replaced by other types of exercise, and yoga also became an important element. I also managed to get enrolled in the yoga instructor training, during which my knowledge was further expanded. Besides that, najapi training and deep meditation courses also helped, and I am a self-taught in astrology.

After a while, my colleagues asked me to give yoga classes, which turned out to be a huge success, and me myself also became better and better. Even workplace troubles could not take a rise out of me anymore. I regained my energy, and as it was growing bigger, I felt the need to share it with others. This is how Online Yoga Academy came to life, to make people aware that YOGA HELPS.

And why would I like to turn to mothers? Because I feel the inner motivation to share my knowledge as a mother the most. Because we have the least time for ourselves as mothers, but we can find the way to incorporate yoga into the flow of our weekdays: it fills us up physically, spiritually, and mentally.

Sooner or later, every mother gets exhausted, stressful, and experience insomnia and irritability. I aim to transfer the knowledge of how every mother can incorporate yoga into their everyday life. The exercises presentet during the course can be practiced easily and in a safe way, even at home, which is a very time-saving solution. There is no need to find time to get to a yoga studio, and it is also possible to practice while running a family and work.

Apart from the already existing programmes, my most recent dream is coming true: MoMYoga Club is launched soon! My complex programme series help every Mom have yoga as an important part of her life.
